National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes

The  America the Beautiful Passes are your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges and standard amenity fees (day use fees) at national forests and grasslands and lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The following passes are available:

Annual Pass – $80 Annual

US Military Pass – Free to current military

Senior Pass – $80 Lifetime

Access Pass (Handicap) – Free

There are ten layers on the map –you can select and display one layer separately or multiple layers simultaneously.

 1st layer of flags are campgrounds recommended by other truckcampers in the USA, Canada, and Baja California.

The other nine layers include:

  • places you may want to consider adding to a “bucket list” while traveling
  • historic sites found along Route 66
  • a participial list of hot springs for relaxing after a day of travel
  • RV parks that other truckcampers have recommended
  • RV parks that other truckcampers have NOT recommended
  • a list of Cabala’s and Bass Pro where you stop for the night as you are passing through on the Interstate
  • some National Park camping site
  • dump stations locations – those that are free and those that charge a fee
  • restaurants and dinners that other truck campers have recommended.

There are more than 3,700 camping areas in 41 states. In addition,  with more than 4,500 miles of trails in our National Forests to explore and experience.

America The Beautiful – The National Parks and the Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass are available at most National Forest Service offices, National Park Service offices, and online at the USGS store.
