Honda EU200i Portable Generator
Honda has recalled its EU2200i portable generator as its manual fuel valve can leak gasoline, posing a fire and burn hazard.
The generator affected are serial numbers EAMT-1102906 to EAMT-124216. The serial number is located on the lower corner of the side panels (as indicated in the photo).
As of Feb. 2, 2019, Honda had received one reported incident in Canada but no injuries or property damage reports. Honda sold approximately 7,776 units of the affected product in Canada between October 2017 and December 2018.
Owners should immediately stop using the generator and contact an authorized Honda dealer to schedule free repairs.
