First map: Camping enthusiasts who enjoy the freedom and adventure of boondocking, exploring Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands, staying at Corps of Engineers’ sites, or National Forest locations
The YELLOW Flags list camping sites that are either Free or under $40. The GREEN Flags are a list of camping sites in Canada.
The BLUE Flags list Visitor Centers and District Offices where you can boondock for the night or obtain camping information, such as maps.
The VIOLET Flags are places of worship that allow overnight boondocking.
Second Map: A Haven for this Web Master –
For TCers, Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores have become a beloved choice for a convenient and welcoming stopover. A list of Cracker Barrel locations where fellow truck campers have reported spending a peaceful night while passing through the area.
Third Map: Casinos have long been known for their bright lights and have also become popular overnight destinations for TCers.
Fourth Map: TCers highly recommend this list of places for those who
value the spirit of adventure.
BLACK Flags mark the most iconic and awe-inspiring
places to add to your bucket list.
Olive Green Flags are reserved for trailheads that beckon climbers and hikers.
These spots offer challenging trails, stunning vistas, and a deep connection with nature.
RED Flags highlight the best hot springs. These natural wonders offer relaxation and rejuvenation after a day of adventure and travel.
Please note that some hot springs do not allow bathing suits.
ORANGE Flags indicate must-see attractions along the historic Route 66. These spots are steeped in Americana and offer a nostalgic journey through time.
Fifth Map: Although many campgrounds offer fantastic amenities and breathtaking views, some fall short of expectations, earning lower ratings from other travelers.
Sixth Map: Finding the perfect campground is key to any successful camping trip, especially for those TCers. Numerous factors set a campground apart, from scenic landscapes to well-maintained facilities. Based on recommendations from experienced TCers, we have compiled a partial list of top campgrounds across the United States. The cost per night was NOT taken into consideration.
Seventh Map: Cabela’s and Bass Pro are good places for TCers to stop overnight while passing through on the Interstate.
Eighth Map: Other TCers recommend National Forest and Park campgrounds when searching.
Ninth Map: The GRAY flags indicate dump station locations or campgrounds that charge a fee. PURPLE flags indicate dump stations with no fee. Additionally, this layer includes dump stations along the highways. GREEN flags signify available potable water. RED flags highlight locations where you can refill your propane tanks. Note: Propane tank exchange locations are not included in this layer.
Tenth Map: Orange flags indicate restaurants and dining
establishments recommended by fellow TCers.
